The short version

Use Musicoro lawfully and with authorization. Do not abuse Discord, the bot, media providers, or other users. Musicoro may change, fail, pause, or disappear. The source code and proprietary HQ mechanisms remain Musicoro's property.

01 // Acceptance

Entering the domain means accepting the rules.

These Terms of Service, the "Terms," are an agreement between you and Musicoro, operated under the Musicoro name by Xerxes. They govern your access to and use of the Musicoro Discord application, Musicoro websites, and related services.

By installing, authorizing, invoking, accessing, or using Musicoro, you agree to these Terms and to the Musicoro Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Musicoro and remove or disable the application where you have authority to do so.

If you use Musicoro on behalf of a company, community, server, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to act for that organization where such authority is required.

02 // Service

What Musicoro is.

Musicoro is a Discord music application that may provide features such as media search and playback, queues, playlists, playback controls, voice-channel integration, status information, and related music functionality. Features may differ by server, account, region, platform limitation, or current development state.

Musicoro is an independent third-party application. It is not Discord, YouTube, Spotify, or any other third-party platform, and it is not sponsored, endorsed, or operated by those services unless expressly stated otherwise.

03 // Eligibility

You must be allowed to use Discord.

You may use Musicoro only if you meet Discord's minimum age requirement for your country and any higher age required by applicable law. If the law in your jurisdiction requires parental or guardian permission for you to agree to these Terms or use the service, you must have that permission.

You may not use Musicoro if your access is prohibited by applicable law, sanctions, court order, Discord enforcement, or another binding restriction.

04 // Discord

Discord's platform rules still apply.

Your use of Discord remains governed by Discord's own agreements and policies, including the Discord Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. Musicoro is also operated subject to applicable Discord developer requirements.

Nothing in these Terms gives you permission to bypass Discord permissions, safety controls, rate limits, account restrictions, server rules, or platform safeguards.

05 // Authorization

Install and control Musicoro only where you have permission.

Server owners and administrators are responsible for granting Musicoro only the Discord permissions reasonably needed for the features they choose to use. You must not install or authorize Musicoro in a server, channel, or account context where you lack permission to do so.

Individual commands and controls may require you to be in a voice channel or otherwise satisfy Musicoro's access checks. You are responsible for commands issued through your Discord account and for maintaining the security of that account.

Musicoro will never ask you to provide your Discord password or user account token. Do not provide those credentials to anyone claiming to represent Musicoro.

06 // Acceptable Use

Do not weaponize the sound.

You agree not to use Musicoro to:

  • violate any law, regulation, Discord rule, server rule, or third-party right;
  • harass, threaten, exploit, impersonate, defraud, stalk, or harm another person;
  • bypass access controls, platform safeguards, rate limits, geographic restrictions, or service restrictions;
  • probe, scan, attack, overload, disrupt, reverse engineer, or attempt unauthorized access to Musicoro, its infrastructure, credentials, private APIs, or proprietary systems;
  • automate abusive command traffic, intentionally create excessive load, or interfere with another user's or server's access to the service;
  • use Musicoro to distribute malware, malicious links, stolen credentials, or unlawful material;
  • use Musicoro to scrape, profile, sell, broker, or exploit Discord user data;
  • misrepresent an affiliation with Musicoro or use Musicoro branding in a deceptive manner; or
  • attempt to extract, reproduce, or circumvent proprietary implementation details through unauthorized access or abuse of the service.

We may apply technical limits, queue limits, rate limits, feature restrictions, or other safeguards to protect the service, Discord, third-party providers, and users.

07 // Media and IP

A request is not a license.

Musicoro may help users locate or play media available through third-party services. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of requested media complies with applicable law, server rules, and the rights and terms of the relevant content owner or platform.

Musicoro does not claim ownership of third-party music, artwork, titles, metadata, trademarks, or other content. Availability of a media item through Musicoro does not mean Musicoro owns, licenses, endorses, or guarantees a right to use that content in every context.

If you believe Musicoro is being used in a way that infringes your rights, contact [email protected] with enough information for us to understand and evaluate the concern.

08 // Third Parties

Musicoro stands on platforms it does not control.

Musicoro depends on third-party platforms and services, which may include Discord and media or metadata providers such as YouTube and Spotify. Those services have their own terms, privacy practices, technical limits, content rules, and availability.

Musicoro does not control third-party services and is not responsible for their outages, policy changes, removed content, account actions, regional restrictions, API changes, or other conduct. Your use of those third-party services remains subject to their applicable terms.

09 // Availability

No uptime ritual is eternal.

Musicoro is provided on an evolving basis. We may add, remove, limit, redesign, suspend, or discontinue features or the service itself at any time. Maintenance, third-party outages, network failures, platform changes, security events, or development work may interrupt service.

We do not guarantee that every requested track, URL, playlist, provider, command, voice region, or server configuration will work at all times. We may impose reasonable limits to protect stability and security.

10 // Suspension

Access can be sealed.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to Musicoro when we reasonably believe use violates these Terms, applicable law, Discord requirements, third-party rights, security controls, or creates risk to Musicoro or others.

You may stop using Musicoro at any time. A server owner or administrator with appropriate permission can remove the application from a server. Termination does not prevent provisions that by their nature should survive from continuing to apply, including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limitations, and dispute-related provisions.

11 // Musicoro IP

The name, code, and machinery remain ours.

Musicoro's original software, source code, architecture, website design, documentation, visual identity, logos, graphics, text, audio-engineering systems, and other original materials are owned by or licensed to Musicoro and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

These Terms give you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the public Musicoro service for its intended purpose. They do not grant access to source code, private systems, developer credentials, proprietary architecture, internal documentation, or implementation methods.

Feedback or suggestions you voluntarily provide may be used to improve Musicoro without obligation to compensate you, provided we do not claim ownership of your pre-existing intellectual property merely because you provided feedback.

12 // Privacy

Data handling has its own covenant.

The Musicoro Privacy Policy explains what information Musicoro processes, why it is processed, how it may be shared, how long it is retained, and how to request access or deletion. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

13 // Disclaimers

The service is provided as available.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Musicoro is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, error-free performance, compatibility with every environment, continued availability of any third-party source, or that every defect will be corrected.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded in your jurisdiction.

14 // Liability

Reasonable limits, to the extent the law allows.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Musicoro and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, use, or business opportunity arising from or related to Musicoro, third-party services, or these Terms.

Where liability cannot be excluded, liability will be limited to the minimum amount permitted by applicable law. These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law and do not limit liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud or intentional misconduct where applicable.

15 // Applicable Law

Mandatory local rights still matter.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of Musicoro, without giving effect to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer or other laws in your jurisdiction require a different result. Nothing in these Terms deprives you of protections that applicable law does not allow you to waive.

Before starting formal proceedings where not prohibited by law, you agree to make a reasonable effort to contact Musicoro at [email protected] so the issue can be reviewed and, where possible, resolved informally.

16 // Changes

The covenant may evolve with the machine.

We may update these Terms as Musicoro changes or as legal, security, operational, or platform requirements change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page identifies the current version. Continued use after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. If you do not agree to an update, stop using Musicoro.
